What are Year Representatives?
The system of Year Representatives works particularly well at our school. Any Sacred Heart parent can volunteer to be a Year Rep for their child's year. The role of a Year Rep is evolving to focus more on ‘pastoral care’ ie. connecting parents, buddying new families, encouraging parents’ to support in classroom and school activities, and coordinating social events that bring families together. Year representatives liaise with teachers and encourage all parents in the year group to become involved in planning and running events throughout the year.

Blue Award
Twice a term at morning assembly, The Blue Awards are given to students who have been selected by their class teacher, to students who display Faith, Generosity and Courage - our school values. Two students per class are selected and presented with the award each term.
Parents are contacted by the class teacher a few days prior and asked not to let their child know until the child is awarded at assembly. The Blue Awards are sponsored by Claudia Portale from McGrath Real Estate Mosman. Claudia is a long time supporter and member of our Sacred Heart Community.
